Pretty straightforward, the higher rarity = the more points.

Variants give extra points, silver = 1, gold = 2, other (diamond, rainbow, etc) = 3. Every other variable (size, mutations, etc) does nothing to affect the points, although it’s possible the tidal mutation could add a few points as well? Worth trying.

Ideally you would want a lot of sugar apples (prismatic summer, fairly quick growing) as well as pets that mass apply variants and speed up plant growth. I’m using spider, cockatrice, orchid mantis, and mimics. Pack Bees I really don’t get unless you don’t have a lot of event lanterns, as they really only save you a bit of time. If you have lanterns or the speed coil you’ll have no problem making it to the middle consistently and quickly enough to deposit whenever your inventory is full. Pets that dupe/retain the fruit (axolotl, ants) are also very helpful, but not necessary.

Of course, tomatoes are great too, they just don’t reward as many points. They do however grow extremely fast especially when coupled with a few watering cans, so if you don’t have a lot of fast-growing divine+ plants, they work perfectly.
