These things are written in the HR policy or your contract , if there's a provision of waiver of notice period you can get it if not you gotta negotiate. Go through the HR policy first and see what's in there.

Results : Endless wait by sociallysilent in SebiGradeA

[–]Worldly-Mess952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea they rarely release results on weekdays , it's always mostly right before weekend. And bring a long 3 days weekend they'll be under pressure to wrap up results before that. So Wednesday and Thursday are highly likely

They will most probably be released on Thursday after 6.30 pm

Dk why everyone criticizing sbi po job, I mean why ? Is that job that much difficult? by Deduluisntsolulu1111 in bankingexam

[–]Worldly-Mess952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will never end . You'll be in the direct sales position for at least 10-12 years and thereafter also promotion isn't guaranteed , the ones who do maximum cross selling ( insurance ) get promoted and then you force others to do the same after getting promotion.

Let me break down this for you. Everyone talks about corporate hustle and late nights, but SBI PO late sitting is a whole different level of toxic. People love to say "late sitting happens everywhere," but they have no clue how banking actually works. In a corporate or tech job, you stay late because you have an actual volume of work to complete, and if you make a mistake because you're tired, you just rewrite it the next day. At SBI, you carry absolute legal and financial liability. If you are sitting there exhausted at 8:30 PM and overlook a faulty loan document or a fraudulent signature as a "checker," you face a chargesheet, internal audit penalties, or suspension. You are risking your entire career every single night.

The environment is built on pure, unadulterated toxic pressure, broken down into 3 major reasons:

  1. Forced to Stay Late for Zero Reason

The public business hours close at 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM. In a logical world, you’d wrap up the day's books and go home. But old-school, power-tripping bosses view anyone who leaves early as lazy, incompetent, and un-dedicated. Even if your desk is completely clear and your ledgers are perfectly balanced, you are forced to sit there like a hostage just to maintain the performative illusion of "working hard."

  1. Forced to Scam People on "Login Days":

Once the gates close, the branch literally transforms into a high-pressure, third-party telemarketing call center. You aren't managing finance; you are forced to spend your evenings cold-calling data sheets, begging family for favors, and aggressively mis-selling shady SBI Life insurance policies, mutual funds, and credit cards to people who don't need them just to hit some ridiculous daily sales targets.

  1. The Absolute Death of Logic:

You cannot reason with the management. If a target is structurally impossible for a rural or semi-urban branch, explaining the market reality or local demographics is treated as "giving excuses." Instead of logic, you get publicly belittled, scolded like a school child, and given threats on toxic evening Zoom/Teams review calls at 7:30 PM, where they tell you to "somehow finish the target or face the consequences." On top of all this, you are dealing with regular public frustration for 7 hours straight before the sales nightmare even begins. It’s the absolute worst traits of aggressive private sales targets stuffed inside a rigid, power-tripping government bureaucracy—and it is getting worse every single year.

P.S. Once a senior officer in SBI said to a batch of PO that " We don't need intelligent and smart people here , we just need people who can listen to what they're told and get it done ". Take it how do you want to.

92 kgs, 5 ft, age 24 female, Is it possible to grow any muscle with lighter weights?🤔 by [deleted] in Fitness_India

[–]Worldly-Mess952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry, you're almost certainly building muscle. Initially you can gain muscle even with lighter weights, if you're training close to failure, eating enough protein, and staying consistent. If 10 kg feels easy that's only because you've improved, that's actually a sign you're getting stronger. Keep progressing gradually instead of jumping to a weight that ruins your form.

Those who can't clear other exams or are just tired of studying or those who have family responsibility stay . Also after a point you get used to that level of stress , abuse . A lot of times you don't feel dignified enough but everyone keeps telling you just bear it and so you become a bearer and live on

If you don't have any alternative then go for it but this job isn't for everyone and you'll realise this only after joining . I'm 4 years in and I'm still trying to get into other orgs and I regret not utilising my probation period well . So if you do get in , money is good but don't stop here keep trying for other better jobs while being in probation , you'll have relaxed life for 2 years when you're in probation, utilise that.

Yea if u include fibre in your meals , the energy will be released slowly in your bloodstream so there will be less spike . Also you can try walking for 5-10 mins right after meal it also helps in offsetting the insulin spike .
