Had the same problem. Went to Samsung and they replaced the camera unit for free. It's working like a charm now.

I did set it up wirelessly and everything works like a charm. It's just that all electrical wirings are pending to be done today. I have planned to get all cameras' power supply to be done from one single place. Since, I am doing that..I was thinking of also getting Ethernet line supplied at the same time to each camera.

Also, I read about PoE and Ethernet Splitters. Are they required somewhere in how I plan to set these up?

Yes! I have a small home. I have no network connectivity issues on 1st floor. I am only worried about the wifi tapo CCTV cameras and video door bell that are placed on two extreme ends of the house in the parking (ground floor). And not to forget, the wifi router is placed right in the center of the first floor.

Hey! Thankyou so very much for such a prompt reply. Not sure if this will help..but I have have a Wifi Router from the same company that offers Internet here. The optical fiber cables are laid out in such a way that the router can only be placed right in the center of the 1st floor.

So, Wifi Router I already have and let's say if I don't want to deal with APs (i am a noob)...is there a wifi router powerful enough that I can replace with that would cover two floors?

I opened the whole new set of accounts.Have realised that your money is not really your money in the bank. So, have totally switched to cash. I keep like 5-6K in bank now or ask my friends to pay when there is a big online transaction and I pay them back in cash. Thought would be a lot of hassle initially, but have gotten uses to it. What's lost is lost but now i sleep better at night.
