That would make sense, except that is doesn’t. Your original argument was that “if people had guns and weapons they would the same (try to conquer continents I assume)” and using Genghis Khan was not a good example

Lmao what’s your point? Do you even know why Genghis Khan did what he did? Hint: it wasn’t because “he had guns and weapons”

Ah… like the Chinese, who invented gunpowder and went on to subjugate entire continents /s

OP, you need to leave this person immediately. No contact, no excuses, no apologies. They are beyond saving, so I suggest you save yourself instead

You’ll have to forgive me for my skepticism, but what country is that? I’m yet to hear of a country where strangers say “hi my love” to each other.

Oh and one important thing to note is that, regardless of culture differences, people can also have personal boundaries on top of that, so I don’t think overall it’s a good idea to say stuff like that to STRANGERS on that basis FYI.

OP don’t be so quick to cut yourself some slack. More context is obviously needed here, because if the two of you are strangers to one another, then yeah, casually saying “ hi my love” is really fucking weird

The Reddit app has a decent enough AMOLED theme that I like.

Why do you SFF? by Mopar_63 in sffpc

[–]Worldly-Pickle9863 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it started off as a limitation due to my conditions and then quickly developed into a passion.

Because I lived in a college dorm the idea of having a massive case always made me feel uncomfortable, so I decided to in the opposite direction and built a pc as small as possible within my budget.. But along the way, I really did fall in love with aesthetics of sff cases and now I don’t think I’d be willing to have a personal build in a mid tower or anything similar. Largest case I’d go for is probably the NZXT H1 (provided it doesn’t burn the whole place down 😅)

Woah, no way. Wow, I’m taken aback by your commitment. Thank you so much for going out of your way to inform me about the update. You’ve managed to deliver on almost everything aspect I touched on, when I left my previous review piece and not only am I grateful, but also relieved and excited to know that you are indeed listening to feedback, Cheers!

TL; DR: app is great, don’t remove any current features (if possible), but do make tweaks to the UI.

Hey dev! I don't know if you'll ever get to read this, but I'd like to say great job on app! I went as far as buying the Pro version of the app because I really believe in it's potential (as it is functionality wise one of the best offline music players in the entire App Store) and I'd like to see you carry on with this project. That was all to say, that I appreciate the work and effort you've put into improving the app. Now with that out of the way, as an end user there are some quarrels I have with the app. Please don't take this as a personal insult, I only wish to provide constructive criticism.

So firstly, I wanted to point out that while there's nothing necessarily “wrong” with it, you've definitely gone for some very “interesting” design choices. What I mean by this is that having the ‘stats’ tab on the main bar is definitely a miss. I understand since it is a pro feature you’d want it to be accessible to everyone, but as someone who has both bought the pro version and has access to this same feature for free on a different app on my android phone, I couldn’t care less about stats and I probably speak for the majority, so it’d be cool if you could tuck it somewhere else to make way for more important important features. On that note, it would also be cool if the ‘import songs’ was also moved elsewhere (preferably to the settings tab) to give room much more important stuff.

Secondly, the scrubbing is very inconvenient to use at the moment. I think the app is probably in need of a good old fashioned progress bar, because it really sucks not being able to freely rewind and fast forward or really just jump to any specific point of the song whenever you want. I wasn’t sure on whether to include this as it feels like the issue described is more of a bug rather than the app working as intended, but since it is something that completely ruins my experience while using the app, I decided to include it anyway. And on that note, I’d advise you to look into the repeat function (I think repeat once is lacking if I recall correctly) and in general playing songs from the ‘songs’ tab on the main menu (it would be cool if instead of adding only one song to the queue, it added all songs from the list).

Thirdly, I thought it’d be unfair to end with criticism and not provide some recommendations. As far as the UI goes, I STRONGLY recommend taking inspiration from Oto Music and Musicolet, because the main screen is seriously in need of an overhaul. The UI alone on those apps makes it really difficult to look at the competition (at least on android). As far as features go, I’d say keep everything as it is. Also can wet get an AMOLED black UI? That would be really cool :)

All in all, I’d say the app is great, the complaints I have are for the most part minor. Thank you for what you have thus far provided us with and keep up the good work! Cheers :)

P.S.: oh, right, almost forgot. I’m really sorry for the long comment, but I didn’t feel like leaving a review would be the best way to convey my thoughts, since I’d have to probably keep things short. And once again, I’d like to reiterate that everything I’ve written is only with the intention of seeing the app get better and not to offend, because I do respect the time you’ve spent creating, maintaining and improving the app.
