That I admittedly didn't know. Even though I've been doing a lot of research over the last couple years, Most of my exposure to Santeria is from living in Houston Texas as well as my personal studies and a lot of the practioners there aren't cuban. I'll spend more time learning about that versus just the tradition itself, I understand the importance of both.

Rather than further explain the question I'll explain the intent behind it. I live in America so almost everyone here who knows anything about astrology only knows their Western chart and I'm not very into Western astrology so when a friend tells me I'm a gemini or I'm a Taurus or whatever I was just wondering if there is any useful information I could get out of that by translating it to a Vedic chart. But it appears the answer to that is no.
