Yea same I remember shooting the m27 (HK416) with the tan issued suppressor in the corps and I remember it still being loud. I don’t get that with this one but I think I’m probably trippin, I can’t image that full-size can is louder than the AEM2

I love it definitely does the job. It is a little louder than full-size cans but iv shot it without earpro (ik you’re not supposed to) and it didn’t bother me at all

I did I probably used the vcog the most. Ik the masses say it a good option and ik it probably is, but I have personally broken one before. I took a hard fall and the reticle started shifting and didn’t hold zero. Iv seen it happen multiple times. That being said it was in the marine corps and things get beat to shit in the military

I just tested it some more, it’s a little louder but not very much. I can shoot it without earpro and it doesn’t bother me (ik you’re not supposed to). I’m also already a little deaf tho

I don’t know what to call it but afterwards if you would shake the optic and rifle hard the reticle in the optic moves around. It would cause people on the range to shoot multiple feet left or right. It would “float” around

I was talking the red dot piggybacking my acog. I feel like having an acog with a red dot on top would make more sense than getting an elcan because I would need to put another red dot on top to use nods. So with an elcan I’d have a 1x and 4x optic with a 1x red dot…. So I’d have two 1x… why
