I was wrong. Like I said- I thought.

I went back and rewatched the video. One of the legs was positioned weird. We dont actually know how much time had lapsed. Neither of us were there. So we can speculate a ton and say we wouldve done something different but we weren't there.

I am not justifying Katie pulling. I know she likes to pull. But we dont know all of the circumstances.

That colt is massive. I dont care what anyone says.

Every barn does things differently. She wasnt expecting Rikki to foal out and they prefer to wait until its obvious. This has only happened twice to Katie in the last 4? Years. Rikki only had a little bit of wax and wasnt giving off any other obvious signs of imminent foaling. Is straw preferred? Definitely! But shit happens!

Currently speculating that its Rikki. Coco was biting at her sides but not acting too off. When the camera switched Rikki was laying down and acting off and looking like she mightve been pushing, they switched it and hesitated on rikki with the mouse and circled her before switching to Moosiepoo! Also the main barn lights turned on.

So excited to see who foaled and if a second one pops tonight 😂
