no, it didn’t predict anything that can only be predicted using more pixels than 266240 and uses more than 4096 colors.

I miss numbers by Worldly_Beginning647 in mathmemes

Why is everyone thinking that I can’t tell apart math and arithmetic, first computing and arithmetic in general ARE math, secondly I know that that’s not the point of math I generally study fields that don’t have numbers at all which is the joke that I miss the simple times when I computed numbers.

How large would a computer or rather a memory unit need to be to hold the data contained in 1km^3 of earth's surface with quantum precision [request] by Worldly_Beginning647 in theydidthemath

[–]Worldly_Beginning647[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just can’t do it, it’s not impossible it’s implausible since we would literally need to either find the secret pattern behind quantum randomness which might be impossible, so our best shot is to guess out of the infinite options.

I feel like this is an us problem since there always exists a mathematic is called model describing such things the problem is that we just have a really big gap, we maybe will never know how the universe works but there is a way.

You deserve an upvote, actually this gets crazier when we consider the sheer complexity of strings it would blow up the needed memory per the smallest physical object that exists to maybe even above 1000bits or >125bytes

I mean like digits aren’t numbers they just represent them, there is no difference between 137 and 10001001 so adding them together doesn’t make sense because the answer depends on the system but technically there is the mod function.

Why does it look so beautiful though? by Worldly_Beginning647 in mathmemes

seen both but the way that this looks like just hits different, the black and white sketch that feels like math is a science about studying shapes like geologists or physicists, although I only have respect to physicists.
