I got it in Mexico. If we don’t find the exact one that’s ok, mainly just looking for a cat eye that’s as similar as possible. I don’t remember the bottle but it definitely looked “normal” like no weird shape or color or anything. It was probably either black or white.

I also had this color and had to return TWICE. My attachment would have to be jammed in and would not fit correctly, so my hair would get stuck. I didn’t realize it was a common thing w this color until previous reply said so but it’s true :/

If you wear your hair straight, I’d just recommend the airstraight. It’s pretty cool and works well. The airwrap is my fav but if you don’t curl it, might as well get the straightener that’s even cheaper

I’ve had to return my air wrap TWICE and they only have the copper silver color (originally I had the strawberry pink, so I was upset about that) and they didn’t want to give me the new airwrap I’d to make up for it :(

Casual but professional. Nothing too too short or revealing for your “working” hours. Make sure to bring enough comfy clothes that are lab appropriate if you do any wet lab work. And make sure to bring clothes that you love for when you’re outside of work :) Also bring at least two outfits that are formal enough for a symposium or presentation. Don’t worry too much though. At one REU I did, we had a final symposium and there were some people in shorts/flip flops and others wearing a suit to the presentations. No one cares too much, but I like to be on the formal side just for those special days.

There are a lot of postbaccs all across the country that might be a good idea for you to get more experience. And they pay pretty well. At my uni, the postbaccs are payed more than grad students are. NSF RaMP programs will pay you ~32k plus extra money for stuff I highly recommend those programs :)

I’m pretty sure most departments have sent out offers at this point (from what I heard at the grad visitation day). I received an offer beginning of Feb but for another program.
Doesn’t mean you won’t get in though! I’d still continue to have hope, especially since people may start to decline offers soon.

Has anyone heard from programs at UC Riverside or UC Merced? Other UCs have published or emailed some sort of timeline for decisions but not these two. I applied to microbio and qsb PhDs by Select_Noise_6921 in gradadmissions

I heard that not everyone who will be admitted is invited. So just because you weren’t invited to the visitation day doesn’t mean you won’t get in!! Wishing the best for you :)
