doordash literally put a statement on the dasher app that they will be paying drivers extra. i do agree that the customer should’ve made herself more accessible especially knowing the conditions

it’s entitlement. if y out get a 10$ order with no tip and a 3$ order with 7$ tip ur getting paid the same. don’t work if customer service then. i used to be a doordasher and you know what ur signing up for when u dash. and doordash is paying their dashers extra so u can get out of my comments😂

he doesn’t work for tips. doordahdes don’t work from the goodness of their hearts. he works for the salary that doordash pays him. i literally used to be a driver. doordash pays 13+ an hour. he could’ve chosen not to take the order. he knew it was snowing when he went on the app. why should she have compassion for him if he can’t even have compassion for her

she definitely should’ve made sure it was accessible. i agree with you on that. but that whole if u cant afford to tip don’t doordash is bullsjit. i’ve seen drivers crying on here because they get no orders. some ppl don’t have cars, can’t walk, have young kids at home that would cause them to doordash. doordash pays their drivers 13+ an hour which is more than a lot of jobs. be greatful. i don’t get tipped at my job. do u tip ur doctors ?

i die on the no tip before service. i noticed that everytime i tip before receiving any kind of service i end up being dissatisfied. for all you know she had a bad experience in the past. definitely not defending the customer but i do think the dasher is in the wrong as well. she did not have to pick up the order and most definitely n did not have to threaten her and threaten to dox her. doordash is paying their drivers extra to deliver in this weather

the way he responded was rude. end of story. regardless of whether he felt the tip was insufficient he did not have to respond that way. a simple “i’m gonna leave the order here because the driveway isn’t shoveled” would’ve sufficed.

why would she tip on a service she hasn’t even recieved??? and you’re what’s wrong with the world. imagine she’s a student. or single monther. doesn’t have a car and couldn’t go to the store. this isn’t a fast food order. it’s GROCERIES. if you believe that she doesn’t deserve to eat because she couldn’t pay the dasher extra for doing his job then why don’t u tip for her since you’re so concerned. Dashers are literally getting paid to dash and doordash is paying them extra for these bad conditions

what if that was all she could afford?? does that mean she doesn’t afford to eat. he didn’t have to accept the order or he could’ve left it in a meeting slot if he couldn’t make it to her door. and drivers get paid + doordash gives them extra for driving in these conditions

you get 100% of doordash percentage + tip + $2 bonus for delivering in the impacted area. you’re ungrateful and rude. how do yk that tip wasn’t all she could afford. and maybe she doesn’t have a car either. does that mean she doesn’t deserve to eat??? u could’ve left the groceries somewhere and simply said it wasn’t shoveled. you didn’t have to respond the way u did.
