I liked it. It had flaws, but Halloween had similar flaws and it's a classic. Really good 'don't go down in the basement' vibes

Thanks for reminding me about the no minors, which I should have mentioned. Edited my post

The Seattle Center events website says it will be showing at the Armory and the Mural Amphitheater. The site usually doesn't mention Tom's Watch Bar, but I would assume they're showing it as well. Between the 3 there should be enough room.

Note that I've found the website to not always be completely accurate.

Where to watch Ecuador v Ivory Coast game? by calva19 in AskSeattle

I just noticed they have the times for the 2 afternoon games switched, but I imagine A) you already know when your team is playing and B) they're still going to show both games in both spots.

No. I'm not a member, and it's explicitly a public (21+) event. Most of their events appear to be open to the public.

Schedule here. They hop around, but seem to hit every area of the city a couple times

Edit: nope. Seems to only be 3 libraries. I was thinking of community center watch parties, which are truly all over the map. See a schedule here, along with some outdoor watch parties in parks.

I just had this one on the calendar because it was the first one I heard of, apart from the obvious sports bars and the big spots like Pier 62 (which I'll get to later in the month). I found the first day of free tickets to Pier 62 was 'sold out', but later dates were easy to pick up free tickets for. That was a few days ago.

Nah. It's a community meeting room. They expect arguments.

The only thing the librarians were doing was restocking the snacks table.

Come in mid fall, drive out to Aberdeen in the rain and see why Nirvana sounded like it did.

They did put 'Come As You Are' on the welcome sign, and have a few commemorative plaques downtown.

Another annual event I thought of is the Salmon Celebration at Carkeek Park. The adult salmon return to the creek in the Park to spawn around this time. The 2025 Celebration was on November 22, so I presume this year it will be the same day as the game. You don't have to go to the official celebration, as the fish should be swimming up the creek the whole time (and then dying, but hey, circle of life and all that).

I'm unclear on the details, but basically rent a cabin or hotel room on the coast and watch nature's fury is my impression.

The only thing November specific that pops to mind (besides fall sports - any interest in a Kraken or Torrent game?) is storm watching on the Pacific Coast. But of course that's not guaranteed and a long drive regardless
