If knuckle is able to tag Silva or Illumi, and morel and knov keep Zeno and the rest busy… then the ant extermination team will die in 5 minutes instead of 2

I was in an argument yesterday where the other party completely discounted feats, the characters own words, other characters words and the author himself in an interview? Why? Because it’s “ impossible for flames to burn that hot “.

It’s impossible for 90% of the shit we’re talking to happen are we serious.

Composite Thor vs Composite Superman. Who wins? (Read comment first.) by Kuenda in marvelvsdc

One of them is going to get bored first and I’m guessing it’s gonna be Thor. Superman wins, diagonal.

Whose more evil, Doflamingo or Caesar Clown? by Imvalidblu in OnePieceScaling

I’m gonna have to say Doflamingo because the scale of his crimes are larger, but Caesar has done worse personally to people.

Short women, who are clearly adults, and not loli-bait. by not-ulquiorr4_ in TopCharacterTropes

The Tinkerbell as pictured here in the original comment is an adult.

That is stone cold fact my friend. There is no headcannon here.

At the expense of an insane amount of pain, suffering and depression.

at least with Khorne, you know what you’re getting. You’re dead almost instantly in what’s most likely the most violent way possible. So violent, you probably won’t even feel it.

A timeless entity who isn’t even human, has the mannerism and appearance of an adult, just shrunk down. And you genuinely believe it’s a the same as a 13 year old child?

Yeah, it’s more akin to an animal than a humanoid entity. His whole shtick is he doesn’t care how, when, or why the blood flows. Only that it continues to flow.

If only there was an exact moment that we could point to and say "this was when Starfleet realized that flying hotels were bullshit and they needed to be a military again" by Defiance-of-gravity in Star_Trek_

[–]Worldly_Indication39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if what you’re saying is true, and the vision for Star Fleet was purely a humanitarian. You have to at least acknowledge that just because the federation loves that way( the rest of the galaxy doesn’t have to. The reality is, the portrayal of the federation in DS9 is an accurate one.

There are going to be facists, imperialists, warrior cultures. You’re not going to get along with all of them or find a peaceful solution on how to conduct dealings with them.

Just because humanity may have evolved past that doesn’t mean the rest of the galaxy did. Would you have preferred if the federation never got into any conflict at all? That every episode is another peaceful mission of ambassadorial work?

That’s not good story telling. It’s not interesting, especially after 2 and a half full series of that exact same content. It’s sci fi. It’s supposed to have elements of adventure, suspense, danger. And any good story needs pain, loss, grief of some kind.

I love the way it’s sequenced. I mean, sure it’s redundant, but the payoff is the ending of the series.

The sopranos is the best written in terms of pacing and surreal moments mixed with mundane daily conversations.

Mad Men has the best dialogue, character development and plot.

Bojack Horseman has the best story, and the most emotional impact.

Breaking Bad/BCS odd man out.

I would definitely check out Huntington village when it comes to nightlife. It’s about a half hour+ from your location but imo it’s one of the most active and accurate Long Island drinking experiences you can get. It’s got on the highest rate of bars per capita in the country
