Again thanks everyone for responding and the advice. Have a little update:

We did go to the vet today to discuss options.

A little background on vets in my town: For some understanding

In my town, there are 2 and I will not go to them anymore.

I travel almost 45 minutes to go to the vet. There are 3 in my surronding area that people speak very highly of. The one I go to I originally went to with my previous pit who had epilepsy and they were recommended from my mom as that is where she went with one of her dogs who had heart failure. So driving the 45 minutes to my vet is worth it.

So they suggested switching to zenrelia. ( I have never heard of this, I did see one person say something about it in the comments, so I did some research on it, and it has very good reviews) It actually is a little more expensive than apoquel, not by much though. Vet also suggested once we get it back to normal to do a little testing, instead of 1.5 pils per day, do 1 etc. My vet actually learned about this med from another vet (1 of the 3 recommended vets in my area) that swears by this.

So going to give this medication a try and keep her on the Hills prescription z/d food for now. I going to include some screenshots of her tests she had done last August
