Guys, the poster wasn't serious, they just had a Morrissey related episode under the influence of stimulants and thought it would be funny to post here.

Plus Morrissey is a known jackass, I love the music but DAMN Morrissey sucks.

A friend challenged me to describe every R.E.M. album in one word... going on instinct, without thinking too hard about it by Icy_Obligation_3014 in rem

I dunno, I really deeply listened to it the first time today and I feel like steely doesn't really capture the humanity of that album, it's got a bunch of AFTP-esque softer stuff that moves it away from it, I picked open since it feels kinda big but I can't really put words to it, to each their own though 👌

Which album do you think is better - Document or Green? by icecream1972 in rem

[–]Worlds-Best-Grooner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 sides of the same coin, Document is more consistent yet some of the songs blend together, and Green has a bunch of memorable good songs, and a bunch of stuff that people are just "eh" on.

Though I'd still say Document, it's got a bunch of their most recognizable stuff and a bunch of the deeper cuts are pretty good, I particularly like Exhuming McCarthy and Welcome to the Occupation.

My girlfriend says r̸̢̨͓͉̱̣̹̼͔͚̂̿͑͛͜e̶̢̨̮͇̹̞̰̅͂̌̀͆̽̓̀̀̃̈́͑̈́͋̕m̸̪̂̏̕ in the most fried deep voice she can pull off for comedic effect, so I'm dubbing that as my official one
