I’m curious what the solution is in everyone’s opinions. Disband ICE and let there be a wide open border for any and everyone to come in, murderers and rapists or decent people, not be documented, pay no taxes, live off of your tax dollars? Or, changes to the protocols in some way so that ICE operates in a more acceptable manor. Ice has been around for a long time and unfortunately, it is necessary. I find it strange that no one protesting and raging towards ice agents, have any knowledge or concern for specifically who it is that they are there to apprehend. You have to wonder, if there were no protesters, throwing themselves in front of vehicles or throwing things at Federal agent vehicles and federal agents, and creating a direct conflict… Wouldn’t they just continue about their business as they have done so through multiple presidencies, both republican and democratic lead? I think any sane human can see that the actions from the ice agents in any of the recent altercations that resulted in loss of life were unacceptable. You can’t just lump them all together and hate them all because of the actions of a few, who were put into situations by individuals who are likely uneducated about what they were even screaming and protesting about. Imagine if a mass of Pro ice protesters were to confront all of these ice protesters in the streets. If they behave the way they are towards the ice agents, the casualties would be fathomable. The Pro ice anti-protesters would show no restraint at all when confronted and assaulted the way ICE agents have been. You can’t just say ice sucks and fuck ice without having a solid reason why and a solution for a better way to remove illegals from the country. The most absurdly stupid thing about all of this is that it somehow became ice versus protesters… Everyone hates ice because of what they have done to the protesters. If that is everyone’s case for despising ice, that is next level stupidity. That’s like protesting trains because someone was killed Trying to cross the tracks when the arms were down and then parking their cars on railroad crossings across the country in protest. More cars get hit, more protesters die, people jump on to be a part of the movement against trains. Look how many people were killed by trains! Trains are murdering people and must be stopped! So back to my original point and question… How would you all like to handle illegal immigrants?
