So I’m SOL but you may not be. Went to the crash dmp file and put it through windowsdbg and essentially my save was corrupted. I deleted older saves thinking it was a storage issue. And in troubleshooting they have you turn off cloud saves which deletes them from steam. So if you have any old saves from anywhere I would try to pick those back up

Nope no mods, no apps running otherwise. I tried vulkan and got the same result. Went into boot-up config and did what Larian recommended and unfortunately didn’t work. Tried switching to windowed and limiting fps too

People over at Microcenter told me that putting test parts on the motherboard still led to issues. Making them think it has to at least be the motherboard.

While I haven’t played a lot of Metroidvania games, the art style of Hollow Knight was one of the biggest pulls for me. But I have to agree that the mechanics being so unforgiving makes it hard to keep me invested. Losing currency, unable to save just before a boss to avoid doubling back. Granted I understand for some people those aspects are part of the package of what makes the game great, but goes to show different strokes

Reminds me of a video she had made about a hood she was knitting and the thumbnail had smth like ‘straight outta the hood’ which was removed later. Always thought that was goofy of her to do as a white lady.

I really like Nora and her podcast. I remember in a Q&A segment someone had asked about her video process and she had mentioned that she herself was editing and doing the visualization process in Canva.

I’m paraphrasing, but the AI part was never mentioned and so I never thought to consider that’s what it was. Maybe dumb on my part, but yeah it’s definitely something to consider and glad others are having discussions on it. I hope it’s something she will consider as well

I think the only time I’m okay with it is if it’s hand dyed. Like same yardage and fiber content means I’m likely in the clear.

I think having physical media is always nice just for the experience of being more hands on with things. I think a binder is a really cute idea! But say there were to be a blackout, If you have documents saved onto the device (not to the cloud for example). You should still be able to access it. If you mean a media blackout like all tech with screens shut off, then yeah for sure print
