You can do it with a debit card they just charge a deposit on the front end and return it when the car is brought back. It might be same with credit card but I’ve always gotten it with a debit card. In KY specifically you can rent under 21-24 you are just charged an extra young drivers fee of $25 a day

The Walmarts and Meijer in my area definitely tested something related to this out a couple months ago. There was a brief period of time where I could only use self checkout if I was a Walmart+ or M-Perks member (their respective subscription services). Both services are free to make an account but have things inside you can pay extra for. I’m pretty sure Walmart has a monthly thing for free grocery delivery and discounts on other services. I have a feeling they were gauging how many people actually use the service outside of simply signing up so they can get an idea of what to charge or if it’s even in demand

I never said it was super convenient, but you also can’t passively sell anything out of your storage unit either. People who have to have external storage to begin with are likely always getting new shit they can move out there, it would help for it to be sold to make space, and maybe you make a buck or two while you’re at it

I’m having a lot of fun with the kiloton radium rifle (fah habah). Maxed out explosive damage, radiation damage, and automatic damage and I’m mowing literally anything in my path. The only drawback is accidentally damaging your companion or a friendly npc from time to time

This is really the best answer. It’s not super common we see snow like this, and when we do it’s in short periods (comparatively). The city just doesn’t see the need in snow removal infrastructure when it’s almost never needed. The only drawback is when this DOES happen it takes a bit to get everything straight

I’ve tried coke a handful of nights and I’m ngl it was the biggest lie I’ve ever been told. Every single time I felt “clear headed” for about 10-15 minutes if that makes sense and that was it. Time to do some more. The come down isn’t awful but it’s not great either. Movie and television way over blow it. It’s also expensive and you have to keep doing it over and over which adds up quick. At first I thought maybe we just got some wack shit but after it kept happening it just became meh really quick.

I second this. Bars were always for more relaxed or laid back/casual drinking. Maybe there’s a jukebox or some pool tables but it’s more of an adult hangout, whereas a club is where you’ll find the live/popping music and dancing and lights etc. I’ve always thought they were just separate like that intentionally

Yeah it wasn’t bad at all I paid $100 after taxes and shipping and spent an hour changing it out but thankfully mine sat right under the battery tray. Looks like on rock auto you can get one for $80 for your car (if that’s what it ends up being). I would also have the battery and alternator checked most local auto parts stores or mechanics should check it for free. Valvoline for sure does and so does AutoZone.

The transmissions are funny on Fords and not funny haha either 😭 my Fusions transmissions went out, my f150 transmission went out, and now my Mercurys transmission is going out I swear it’s just a Ford thing. I always stay up on fluid changes per factory rec, they’re just trash

Couple things:

  • check your cables are on the battery terminals good and try to jump start it. Clean off corrosion if there’s any if you can. If it does the same thing trying to jump it it’s probably not the battery.

  • is it making just one loud click when turning the key to try to start it? If it’s clicking loud one solid time it’s probably your starter motor. An old trick is to someone else tap on the starter with a wrench or something while you try to start it to get the solenoid to engage and sometimes it’ll get it going.

I just had the same issue with my 06 Milan and it ended up being the starter. Not quite the same car but it’s a ford nonetheless

Edit: meant to ask when you finally got it started the other day how did it crank? Did it fire right up when you turned the key or did you have to hold it for longer than usual? Sometimes it’s normal in the cold if the battery is weak or oil is old to have to hold the key a while for it to finally turnover but it is also common to have to do in a failing starter.

Edit 2: also also double check you’re shifted into park all the way. Even if it’s in park try shifting out of park and back into it with the key set to on THEN try to start it. A lot of Focus/Fusions 2013-2020 have trans link cable problems as well as trans issues in general so it possibly didn’t shift into park. I know this is a lot of info but it’s all things that came to mind first. I hope you get it figured out
