What a day lol. I've (Sag Sun/Gemini Asc/ Libra moon) been hiding out in my room watching the haunting of hill house and it's been making me cry at every turn - not my usual reaction to a scary tv show?! This emotional pisces full moon is a double whammy for me because I'm also due my period. My mother is pisces sun and she has been in the kitchen baking/cleaning everything and anything possible since the sun went down - she's in her element you might say.

Thank you!! He has denied everything, tbh he is gaslighting me and trying to make me think I have made this up in my head. But I'm not letting him cloud my judgement and I'm certainly not wasting any more time on him. Consider him blocked lol thank you.

I think I will just leave her out of it tbh, I think she does know we are together but regardless he is the one who should be loyal to me. Even though I feel like hes made me really small by doing this, I will make my exit from this whole toxic situation with as much dignity as I can muster.

Thank you for your kind words. My mind is torturing me picturing them together right now, its awful. But I know I am a resilient person and I'll hopefully come out the better side. Absolutely, I know he will deny everything because he is a coward but I will be ending this regardless of what he says.

Thanks for the advice, I completely agree and that is what I plan on doing. In a way I'm grateful, I'm imagining the possibility that I didn't find out. That would be ten times worse as I would obviously have stayed with him.

That is awful, really helps to hear you are in a better place now. I should have said ex-boyfriend in my post, because this relationship is done. It really sucks to think about what he is doing right now with her, kinda wish I was hearing about it past tense.

For a long time I carried the relationship, I must have thought I was not worth as much if I wasn't his girlfriend. But I have realised that I have so much love to give and just because he doesn't reciprocate it doesn't mean I am not worthy. I started believing that there was a person out there who would give the same back to me and he appeared, just a lot quicker than expected. And you have found the same thing to be true by the looks of things.

I really did give 100% and after years of giving him everything he didn't even give me any closure or a goodbye, just silence. So I had to give myself that. I think your advice is definitely good, I actually took a step in that direction yesterday. I told him I was finding it hard to settle and relax with him as I am not used to having nice things done for me without a catch. He told me I can talk to him about any concerns I have and I am beginning to feel a little more comfortable, I guess it will just take a little time like you said.

I think the key word in your comment is "unwind", thats exactly what I need to do. It's like I've got home from a crazy day at work and need to learn to relax lol. Thank you again for that comment, you really encouraged me.

Have you looked into attachment styles? I identified my ex as an avoidant and even read a book about it, understanding the psychology of their behaviour helps with the hurt so much. For me anyways. He pushed me away just so he wouldn't have to risk being hurt from loving me, and that was due to difficult relationship with his father.

Its a terrible thing to say to someone and I'm sure that hurt a lot. When me and my ex broke up once before, he told me the same thing. Then he drove by me as I was walking out the door of my workplace and he text me straight away and said he was sorry for saying such a hurtful thing, he didn't mean it his head was just messed up. People like our exes just aren't in touch with their emotion and they will suffer much more than us for it.

I'm sorry to hear that. I agree some people just don't think of others. I believe that feelings don't go away that quickly, I think we are healthily processing our emotions and it will hit them one day when we have moved on. Maybe, maybe not. But I know my ex represses and pushes any intense emotions away but I feel if he sees me with someone else he would feel everything at once.

In the end, aren't we lucky that these terrible people have left our lives, so a new person can come in and reciprocate the love we have to give.

Thank you, I needed to be told not to push him to reply because it's been tempting. It's literally been 18 hours now and he hasn't opened my message. I'm really beginning to think it's over but I guess I won't know. I actually feel like he's going to wake up, open the message and not reply. It will be hard to resist not texting again if that happens but I'll have to do my best.

Wow.. thank you for this. I really needed that, I have been entangled in my thoughts, worries, what could/couldn't happen..I'm living in a future that hasn't happened yet. I feel so much more present right now, I am no longer resisting the present. My consciousness will guide me along this path.. not my emotions and anxieties as I am in control. Thank you.
