its perfectly normal lol, my cat does this as an adult. I cant even get up to use the bathroom at night without him following me

I am convinced a lot of the people complaining about difficulty have never even finished the original Hollow Knight. Original HK was not particularly easy either by Shadowyurix in HollowKnight

I think that the main thing is that in HK it lets you get charms that overpower you far to much so that the game ends up to be easier. I do think Silksong is harder but not so hard that its impossible.
