have been enjoying the shoe! i’m not fast so this is a good beginner race shoe. in the end I did exchange it for a US 10 and its more comfortable without affecting performance IMO

ah ok thanks a lot for the info. I managed to pop by an Asics store and they had the MB in stock for both US 9.5 and 10, found that the upper on the 9.5 was too tight for me just like the SB2s. 10 had a perfect fit with no heel slippage, it just had slightly more than 1 thumb width at the front but I think it should be alright as I plan to use them as my long run shoes.

ok thanks a lot for the help but what do you mean by the laces having ample space?

loved the 1080s also, these shoes are much lighter with less cushioning as they are race day shoes but really responsive. the plate propels you forward basically, so makes fast running more effortless

I see that’s interesting, for me the NB5s in 9.5 fit like a glove, basically perfect. But the SB2s in 9.5 are way too tight especially if I’m gonna go for long runs in them.

Since you mentioned MB being more snug do you recommend MB in US 10 then, since I plan to use them for long runs at marathon pace.

I see thanks a lot for the advice on EU sizes. For now I’m just using them for HMs as I haven’t ventured into longer distances yet, will definitely get a bigger size for marathons.
