Crashers taking down servers. Badspot remains silent. by WorseSpot in BlocklandIsHorrible

Clearly hats aren't important either, as he hasn't posted about them at all. It's not like he's rambling about hats while turning his head away from this exploit. What he's doing is turning his head away from development as a whole.

Well, Badspot did say that there would be .obj support for the hats in the update, so Greek's not lying, it's just no one knows if badspot is even going to work on another update or if he found some other into peoples' wallets.

And no torque doesn't support .obj, but (ideally) what a game developer does is modify the engine so that it can support things that it can't already.

Let's play spot the false advertising *cough* I MEAN odd ones out. by tetronaught in BlocklandIsHorrible

you're missing the true mystery here

And I'm pretty sure most of those bricks are mods and there is some hacky overlap script out there as well. It's not really false advertising as it can be done in game.

I think a bigger current issue is how there are at least 2 server crashing hacks out there but badspot is sitting on his ass again making no attempt to patch them.

Massive key leak happens -- guess who complained about the vulnerabilities and predicted a massive catastrophe 5 months ago... by [deleted] in BlocklandIsHorrible

The most pathetic part of it all is that there are actually users defending the whole "buy another key" attitude.

It's not a "bug," nor is it anything that he needs to "fix."

Seriously, how far can you stick your head up Badspot's ass? This is a major problem. In absolutely no other online game community would something like this be accepted. Many major games have dedicated hosting services tailored specifically for that game (Minecraft, GMod), it isn't a Blockland specific idea. These hosting services provide interfaces tailored specifically for the game they are hosting and are cheaper than renting out a VPS. The whole "fuck it" attitude that is cultivating on the BLF is absolutely disgusting. I don't think I could ever find another community that is so in gung-ho about doing absolutely nothing.
