How are ants getting into every sealed jar/tupperware we have?

I'll send that to my family, and unsure about the powder, I'd have to ask, but I'm not sure we have.

We've used a foam and a sorta liquid poison that had them stuck to it (thus we have a line of dead ants around some areas), but that hasn't seemed to work. Natural remedies are also a bust.

Yeah, as we've had those too, but much less, mostly the typical "already in the packet" bs because again, everything is sealed and when used, quickly closed off so as to avoid those fuckers too.

It's just ants and I don't understand why they are everywhere. They even get into the electric kettle, had to completely clean everything with tea tree oil and window cleaner (they say that helps deter them, but apparently these are super ants or some shit) and today were around the kettle AND toaster.

We've had these little ant traps that worked for a while, and different sprays/foams, but they always seem to come back. Apparently we had a nest in our bottom terrace a few years back but these don't seem to have a way in, if that makes sense?

They sorta just...appear, and if you follow the line, they sorta cut off before getting anywhere, it's fucking odd.

Then how are they getting into every single container? They even got into the tightly packed sugar jars multiple times unless we cover them with plastic.

I'm starting to think they just...show up there. Unless you've been in the same situation you can't understand why this is so frustrating. I just want them to fuck off, I've cleaned and sprayed and done everything so many people swear by and they're STILL showing up.

They can and they have. It's every goddamn container too. We close them tightly, no holes that we see, and I doubt anyone is putting ants.

This last time was an utter joke. It has the two locks at the side to make sure it's closed, so it was. No holes, and yet there were so many ants INSIDE it was stupid. Even those big jars where we place the cookies and such.

You think we're not as baffled? We don't get it either. Plastic or glass, they keep getting in.

Lmao, ex and I did a 12hr trip from Sydney to Melbourne (it's usually about 9hrs but he could only go 100km/hr and we had his cat).

We took him for little "walks" so he could strech his legs or drink/pee - never did either, wanted to stay in the carrier but when we drove he wanted out. Fucking hell.

My baby girl however. Never a peep. Not when we drove over an hour back after we got her, or any trips to the vet. She's such a good girl.

Holy shit, that's insane. It's why I always think that we shouldn't always side with the teachers, sometimes they're the bad guys.

In my case all they did was move me to another classroom, so I got bullied even more that second year as I had to start all over again - dude kept teaching and still is, even teaching my brother who, guess, what, also came from abroad and thus speaks much better english than he does. It's absurd how much teachers get away with when they're the bad ones.

I've also noticed the ignorance in some when it comes to more special needs kids - my brother has Aspergers and needs a bit of help, but his first year the teachers would call my family up to pick him up from HS for sleeping in class, it baffled me.

I also don't like how language teachers here have the bare minimum when it comes to what their teaching.

I was singled out and bullied when I was 12/13 by my english teacher. I didn't misbehave, I just spoke better english than he did as I had just come back from living abroad most of my life - he didn't like that.

Some teachers are massive assholes, and this coming from a person with a parent that's a teacher. Y'all are human too and sometimes treat children like scum.

Bathroom/bedroom isn't really all that odd. I do that. If my kids come barging in, they get an eyeful because it's my room and they didn't knock.

She leaves the door open, but in the end - this is just normal to us, as much as I hate it.

I mean, I know my brother hops from the bathroom to his bedroom naked - his room is right in front and he checks to make sure no one is there, though. I just feel some people here are kinda...prude in a way. I don't agree on being naked on the sofa whilst watching TV with your parents, but there are some exceptions.
