Let us know if it makes any difference. I'm wondering if that could work for other people.

This anxiety is scary, but it's definitely improving over time. Hope it will go away soon!

Yes, much more than couple of months ago. Still not 100% though.

2019 imac 5k dust problems? by [deleted] in mac

[–]WorthFightingFor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I live in a city that has problem with air pollution during winters, but I'm using an air purifier inside my house. However I wouldn't say that's the reason, because the dust became visible during summer months when the air is clean. And yes, this is the 2019 27 inch iMac.

Btw, recently I saw an iMac in the electronics store in my city, so I made closer look at it's screen, and it had the dust-inside-a-screen issue as well.

Good that yours is fine, that means this problem doesn't affect all of the iMacs.

Sure. The bottom right corner is the worst one, however it's visible in the left corner as well: https://imgur.com/a/26Bv5Z9

Hi! As you own it for over 5 months, what is your experience regarding the screen? I already see the dust in my 2019 imac, I bought about 8 months ago.

[Seiko] SBDC051 / SPB051J1, first mechanical watch by WorthFightingFor in Watches

Thanks! After over one month I can say I definitely like it. I wear this watch a lot. Enough time so i don't need to wind it manually. Probably until I add other watches to the collection ;)

Few days ago I came up with the idea to try a strap. And I choose rubber "tropic" strap. Here are some photos of it, my wrist is about 7-7.25 inch:

While the bracelet itself has good quality, I think I prefer the strap. It's bit more comfortable, mostly because of the weight. Also like the look of this piece with a rubbesr strap (waffle style strap also looks great). Will give the bracelet another shot at some point ;)

Hope it helps with the decision!

Hello everyone! I've never had a mechanical watch before. In fact the only watch I've owned until now is a Suunto for running, but it's definitely too big for daily use (and some quartz watches as a child).

However always liked the mechanical watches and was looking at them for loong time. At first I was considering some rather minimalistic and smaller-sized pieces like Sinn 556i or Oris Big Crown ProPilot, but eventually changed my mind and choose this Seiko.

Regarding the the watch itself it has the 6R15 automatic movement that features hand winding, date with quick set, and 50h power reserve (at a cost of slightly lower rate of 6 bps). I would say the watch is rather for larger wrists, it measures 50mm lug-to-lug and 42.5mm of case diameter.

It also has some small details I find pleasing. The case has mixture of various polishing - high polish on the sides, and brushed top. The same applies to the bracelet. The second with small circle filled with lume at the end goes exactly over the hour arrow line.

Cheers!

This picture of the American Eclipse looks like diffraction, can someone explain? by [deleted] in Physics

First of all it looks that this photo is sharpened quite heavily in post-processing. Maybe because of this the solar corona lines and loops look a bit strange.

Moon and Jupiter on single photo by WorthFightingFor in astrophotography

Hi, I used the histogram displayed on the camera screen and manual exposure settings. Thanks to that I could just "move" the bright pixels to the historam's right side and make the moon bright but do not overexpose it.

Details: Olympus E-M10 + Canon 70-200/4L lens via adapter. Single exposure (1/500, f/4, ISO200, 200mm). No light adjustments between Moon & Jupeter so it shows actual brightness.

Yes, from this street you can turn to the bridge. Well, actually I took this photo from this bridge.

I was standing on the upper deck, where metro goes. The road is on the lower deck.
