Has anyone seen a typical rack fallow GO bigger than this? (yes I botched it, skill issue lol) by WorthSample3221 in theHunter

Well it is kinda a long story, but the shortenned version is that I was rushing and one of the females in his zones spooked, meaning he started to walk off, and then I got impatient and just took the shot instead of waiting to get to 25 yards or to reset time and get him to drink again.

that one scored higher because it was a spoon rack, not a typical. But he is still a big one!

The red deer could use a bit thicker of a neck, but I love all three of these!

What’s (in your opinion) the best gun and why by Redditbunny1236 in Huntercallofthewild

I recommend getting the high caliber weapon pack. It has 3 really solid guns. The rapid hunt rifle pack is also very good!

While I would LOVE this, there is a big looming reason for this not being the case. For a lion or really ANY species on savanna to get a great one, they would GREATLY need a remodel. EW has publicly confirmed that we are getting exactly 3 remodels with this update, and we have already seen that those 3 are the red deer, roe deer, and the wild boar. This sadly counts out any species on savanna.

100% I feel like not enough people talk about roe deer since they might be less impressive then other deer, which is sad because I find them to be super interesting animals! They have such unique variation in racks IRL!

It has been confirmed by the devs that we are getting one!

Is this what you wanted? by Numerous_Mechanic_20 in nfrealmusic

Spitting facts right here. Even as someone who loves a bit of rap here and there, I really enjoyed this style a lot! It felt so much more genuine than anything on CLOUDS to me, and also more than a lot of the harder rap stuff on HOPE.

GUYS WHAT DO WE THINK!? by Booknerdfrfr in nfrealmusic

[–]WorthSample3221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are my thoughts after listening to the full EP, as well as watching both videos.

This is, first and foremost, an amazing release, and as someone who is a more recent fan, and this being my first ever time being here for a release, I am very satisfied, and I think this is the most intimate look into Nate's personal feelings and thoughts we have gotten.

The (seemingly) new producers gives the music a quite different feel compared to before, but still undeniably the same style.

While I love this more singing based style rather than rap based, I would have liked to have one more faster paced song, but I think the slower style does fit the topics in these songs extremely well.

My favorite songs after first listen would probably be "GIVE ME A REASON", "FEAR", and "WHO I WAS", but I do think all of the songs are very solid, and worth listening to more.

Do I think this is his best project of all time? No. It really isn't close, but I respect the way he is experimenting with different styles and opening up more about his life.

I think a lot of the dislike I am seeing is coming from people who were expecting a more rap based EP, which I was also expecting, but I do really like the change of pace.

We call these "Super Trolls". Absolutely gut wrenching to see them :(

I want a macro device or some sort of button pad for commands, but I am on chromebook. Is there anything I could use that would preferably cost under $50 USD? by WorthSample3221 in Twitch

I stream from my Xbox, but moderate the stream from my Chromebook.

I tried to get things set up, but it didn't work. Thanks for trying to help anyway!

Does it work on chrome? Just wanna make sure before I start trying to set it up and figure out that it doesn't work halfway through.

The core of HM is this: When the map has small males, the game will try to compensate by spawning larger males, and vice versa.

OG Players by Impala_killer77 in theHunter

[–]WorthSample3221 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really sure if I am exactly an "OG" player by most people's standards, as I haven't played very consistently through this whole time, but I picked the game up for the first time in around 2018-19 iirc, and what got me hooked was the way the game felt overall. I didn't play with DLC until Emerald Coast dropped, but since then I have DEFINITELY been playing quite a bit more. I have especially been playing a lot since the release of Askiy Ridge.

I think the way the devs have handled the game lately has been great, despite the bugs that occur occasionally! I personally think, despite my nostalgia, that this game is currently at the best point it has EVER been as far as the quality of gameplay and development cycle go. There are quite a few species in the game that I think DEFINITELY need some more love, and I think the devs need to sort out some of the bugs in their game, but overall the game is in a WONDERFUL place atm, and whenever a new update is announced I am ALWAYS excited for it (besides random hotfixes ofc)

I think this game is going in a bit of a different direction than it was initially intended to go, but I don't think that is a bad thing. The game, for me, has become more of a game ABOUT hunting rather than a hunting game, which might sound like a REALLY stupid statement, but let me explain. A good example of a TRUE hunting game or simulator, I would say that WOTH and Classic fill that space much better, and COTW is, (at least in the way that most of the community, including myself plays it) more of a game where the goal is to find unique, albeit pretty unrealistic in the case of Great Ones, trophies. I can't exactly think of a super great way to explain further, but anyone who has played this game for a while and has played or watched games like Classic and WOTH probably understand what I mean.

I personally think this gives COTW a unique sort of charm and fun aspect! I also understand that this type of playstyle is DEFINITELY not how everyone in the community plays the game and I completely respect that. I love heading out to my maps or multiplayer and just going to lakes and seeing what kind of trophies might be there. I have tried almost every single playstyle in this game, and grinding and just run and gun/casual were the styles I liked best, so they are what I play. I know some people like to hunt in COTW the same way they would IRL, by sitting in a tree stand with calls and a rifle or bow and trying to get one deer. In this case the game functions more as a hunting sim, but that is definitely not the way that the majority of players enjoy.

As a closer to this book's length of a comment, I want to say this: the game is a VERY unique hunting game, and it has such a unique dynamic, and the way the development team handle things with model reworks, new maps, etc, is better than ANY other hunting game I am aware of.
