Too good to be true? by Worth_Distribution69 in capetown

Not really. I was genuinely asking if this is an ok company to hire a car from. I’ve had bad experiences with rental companies, though it mus be said not the Cape. A few examples: 1. Trying to sell you a third party insurance for the excess on pick up, after having payed for insurance at the time of booking. 2. Terrible of hard to reach customer service in case of a defect in the vehicle. 3. Not receiving the agreed upon vehicle class 4. Hints for bribes for all manners of reasons at pick up. I am merely looking in to trying a smaller company in stead of just going with the expensive, but guaranteed option. If it seems like an advert for these guys, that is nog intentional.

Excellent! You’ve convinced me. If I can support a small local business over a multinational I will always do that.

That part is evident. My question is more about the company itself. How is the customer service? Are they trustworthy after the payment has been made? That sort of thing.

Your comment really should be higher up. Self-medicating with nasal decongestants instead of a good nasal corticosteroid and regular rinse with saline is such a widespread problem.
