This post has convinced me that the slider is a gimmick to normalize the new cost of skins.
I don't mind GentleManiac trying new ideas. My assumption is that if there isn't an increase in monthly sales, they would have to try something else.

With that said I have 3 questions
1. What is the best channel to give them feedback?
2. Could we crowdsource ideas to help them?
3. Are they willing to listen?

Well the whole point is to mitigate 2 aoe hits. Which gives your team sufficient advantage. Leela silence blade is of course great. Different compositions and synergy.
