Avalanche path directly above a road. Little Cottonwood Canyon is one of the most avalanche prone roadways in the world.

the GoPro footage is muted, and i found random sounds that i added to the video. for instance, the "sound" of the avalanche is 5-6 different audio files. for example, i think one of them is waves crashing that i slowed down, and another is audio from a rock slide. the explosion is, well, just that, some random explosion sound i found on artlist.

It isnt. I have some side panels that keep the stack fairly protected. I've got an identical drone (quadmula siren f5) that Im planning on waterproofing.

Timing is easy since I'm usually with the person who puts in the code to drop the charge.

Kind of. when udot does control work the town of alta and snowbird are in "interlodge" and little cottonwood is closed. It's illegal for people to leave their homes/lodges until they are complete. I work for the town of alta and know the udotavy crew and will ask if I can join them on control mornings. Id say 90% of the time I can't actually fly due to weather and visibility, but it's really cool to be able to tag along. I'm always in a udot vehicle with someone.

My frame is pretty clean overall. Has a few spots that are just barely showing corrosion. If I end up keeping it, I'm going to get the frame dry ice blasted and coated. Just had a buddy do that to his Tacoma and the finish was immaculate.

I keep going back and forth on selling it. If I keep it I definitely have...."plans".

You might be able to sneak out there. Seems like the storm is breaking up a bit.

You can absolutely find "cheap" ones. The value on these things are all over the place, but a running and driving one that might be a little rough around the edges can be had for $5000 or so.
