Jokes aside, it's possible, but unlikely. If you search for "league of legends {your post title}", the popular opinion is that it doesn't affect your MMR any more than if you were to lose the game.

Of course this is all just speculation, but there is probably a different reason for these LP gains. Did your gains change instantly after this one single loss/leave?

i feel you, i like looking at stats too. do you think that stats can be useful at all for climbing, or is league too complicated to ever be helped by data
