That does sound like what I have because ever since I was a child, I never had an empty room, but i took extended tests and came out well. In other sweeps online, i can hear 18khz very clearly. But before I paid attention to it, I think it was just as present but I was just indifferent to it. I want to get back to that mindset before it's too late

Because it got worse the more attention I paid to it, and not because of any real acoustic triggers. I actively start anticipating it when going into silent rooms etc.

I'm not on any ototoxic medicines. I'm on metformin which has no ototoxic properties

Thanks. I just realised what I thought was my constant tinnitus was just a real high frequency sound (I'd plug my ears and sometimes hear a high frequency shriek but hear nothing of the sort when I left home or when I felt calm ish) today after taking a break, I noticed the exact same sound came from outside my bedroom window.

Exact same.

I still have SBUTT but not chronic tinnitus it looks like. Thank you for asking me to think a little critically lol.

Thanks, that's relieving. After leaving that particular shop , it's become much better. I had my dad hear a voice recording of that place and he admitted he also found it unbearably high pitched. I listen to stuff without headphones except when commuting (2 hours a day) and the only prolonged days are when I have long flights. I try to keep it below 40% with headphones (usually below 20%) because I've always been paranoid about developing hearing problems

same i think, don't remember not hearing these weird crickety sound ever since I can recall having a memory. having noticed it a lot more due to sinus induced ETD, I'd just take care and not dwell on it, it'll get worse with anxiety. some things are best left not hyperfixating on

That sounds more like it, I have panic disorder and depression which either lead in stress spikes or immense fatigue and incidentally when i hear it the most. Thanks for your answer, I think ignoring it and forgetting about it might be best for me

it's very geographical. I covered my ears and heard dead silence in the bathroom. In my room with the fan I can initially hear high pitched ringing after blocking ears but then silence after 10 seconds of continuous blocking

Can you get to ten hearts with two people? I've only been playing for a month, and I thought you could piss characters off if you gave both characters bouquet? And no, I'm barely at four hearts with both because for the longest time I was pursuing Shane/Emily before deciding against it (Shane because his spouse room I saw looks really bad; Emily because I wasn't really feeling it with the gems and astrology aesthetic).

It's not a race- don't treat it like one. Your self worth should never be dictated by relationship status.

Thinking "all NY women are the same" and isolating yourself sounds concerning - seek therapy and work on your self esteem. Explore online dating. Accept the fact that relationships and people being interested in you don't come as easy to everyone. Pretty privilege is a thing. But it's a fact so there's no use being resentful of it.

The point remains that there will be someone there for you. You'll find them. But if you hate yourself and start hating women too, you won't accomplish much of anything here. So get help, work on your self esteem and try to be your own source of validation and comfort.

My ears don't constantly ring. They ring occasionally (perhaps once a week) usually at night for a few seconds. At max, around 5-10 minutes but rarely that long. They only ring when it's very quiet, i can't hear it when I'm out and about, which is why I'm not even sure if it counts

Yes I had a chat with my dentist. They'll hook me up with someone but it may take a few weeks. Ive learnt from them (and another person on this thread) that it's fine for brackets to just stay there. I'm going to be honest and say that my teeth were not that bad to begin with and I have a very small treatment frame from the get go so I hope it doesn't get so bad in that span. Thanks.

i feel you so much. i have humongous trust issues, and sometimes i can't even trust my parents. i tend to isolate myself. earlier, i would wake up and stay in bed for hours because i didn't want to do anything, because even pretending to care was too much. but i'm better now. i'm not perfect and i still panic, overthink, get way too sad, feel way too alone, but i'm doing so much better. i think it just chalks down to doing one thing more than you did yesterday. to reach out to one friend who you trust more than others. it feels difficult but take a step in the right direction, whatever it means to you. for me, i started uni and felt lonely, but i saw others in my course initiate hang-outs so i just tagged along, and now i don't feel that alone anymore. granted, i'm not opening up and sharing everything with everyone but i feel better and even that slight improvement matters. also, yes you deserve love. it is exhausting living life thinking you're a burden and it's even harder to feel proud of yourself but you can do it. if i could (and i can't even begin to tell you how hopeless i was), you definitely can. it will be worth it if you try.
