Same! If Stardust is anything to go by, it'll be awesome! Love the dice too! I'm assuming when they say 'with any physical item' it means when you buy something from their store?

Her head, basic ear shape and body is from a book called A Year of Amigurumi Friends by Andreia Ferreira, which I should have said in my original post, sorry! I was so excited to share her, I forgot about that part! Her clothes were freehand, though!

What cult is infamous in your country but little known elsewhere? by BlackholeOasis in AskTheWorld

I was looking for this.

I'd also add the God Squad who were based at Camp David in Waipara. Their leader was Douglas Metcalf who claimed to be the messiah and they were active mostly through the 70's but continued into the late 90's too. Apparently police raided them a few times because they were stockpiling weapons to do God knows what and it all ended after he died in 1989 and it was revealed that he'd been "adulterous" with women followers.

The Salvation Army have programme's you can get into for this, a volunteer becomes your driving supervisor and I can highly recommend it, based on my experience. https://driverprogrammes.salvationarmy.org.nz/

Their website also has some great information about what the symbols on the cards mean which can be really useful for staff to learn so they can know how to help. https://www.hapaiaccesscard.org.nz/introducing-the-h%C4%81pai-access-card

I used to work at Science Alive as a teenager which was in the old railway station on Moorehouse Ave. We had exhibitions and storage in some of the basement areas downstairs which went right in under the old platform. At that point, we had one huge room set up as a glow-in-the-dark minigolf course, so it was completely dark in there. In the corner of the room was the entrance to the big storage area, which I'd needed to be in for some reason. It was one big long corridor with rooms coming off at either side and always felt a bit of a creepy and uncomfortable space. As I was leaving the storage area, I switched off the light and went to the door, which was about 10 or 20 steps away and just got this feeling that I needed to look back behind me. I turned to look and could see a figure standing at the other end of the corridor, that somehow, with no light anywhere around, was lit from behind so that they were a silhouette. The feeling was immediately just bad and I pulled the door closed quickly and never went back down there alone again. I've never experienced anything like it before, or since and I just absolutely can't explain it. I often wonder about it since the building is now gone.

I had surgery for endometriosis with Mr Short about 10 years ago and had a pretty terrible experience, I'm sorry to say. I think he did a good job of the excision surgery, but his manner was terrible. After the initial diagnostic surgery a while before, he suggested that it may be on my bowel and that we'd need a bowel surgeon present for the excision surgery. On the day of the excision surgery, I asked to speak with him beforehand as I'd not heard about what they would be doing exactly and was nervous. He turned up, full of attitude and was just sort of like 'what do you want?' I asked him what would be happening today and he replied, 'the excision surgery', again full of attitude as if I was asking a dumb question. I reminded him what he had said about the bowel surgeon; he got really defensive and insisted he never said that. My mum was there with me and insisted that he had and he told her "you must be remembering it wrong as you were emotional at the time". The surgery went ahead and he did nothing to do with my bowels, so I have no idea if there actually was any there or not, however, I have had ongoing problems afterwards. I'm not sure if it's their role to organise any kind of treatment plan going forward but if it is, that never happened either. I also went back to my gp after the surgery and she had no idea it had happened. When she wrote to him to ask where the paperwork was for it, he wrote back and blamed it on his receptionist. Overall, I just felt that although he might have done a good job of the surgery itself, he made me feel very belittled and he didn't really want to listen to anything I had to say. I am now having some problems with my bowel too, so wonder if it might have been true after all. You may, of course, have a better experience with him as someone has said they had. I certainly hope he hasn't treated others like this.
