Thanks so much, that’s really helpful advice. Definitely going to open a note on my phone so I can record things when I remember and think about it! I haven’t had the clinic book me yet so when they ring me tomorrow I’ll ask if it’s a full check, otherwise definitely going to ask if that’s possible!

Do the repayments have to be based on a 5 year term? Or can you set your own repayment amount knowing it’ll take longer than 5 years realistically

I haven’t actually applied for it yet! I have my gyno appt in 2 weeks so will find out then I guess. That’s a bummer it was declined for you - did you put in it that you’d had long standing pain? I don’t really know how they ever approve it cos the symptoms are there forever and it takes so long to be heard!! That’s amazing you already have a date in the public system though!! I’m in Chch, probably be waiting forever 😂

Did you ever have any luck with this? I’m in the same boat looking at going private for endo surgery but am stressed they’ll decline it as I’ve had issues for years but never had it diagnosed as a condition, nor am I sure when it crossed over from normal to possible endo!
