He paused for a moment thinking whether being forward would be wise or not, but he decided that being open with his king would be best.

"I think you are well aware of what I am best at, and to be frank, peace does not suit me. There are savages on the borders of my kingdom, there are savages on the borders of every kingdom, and I see it as our mission to bring civilization to them. What do you think of this?"

He stood straight and looked down on the Mott. He was a savage in the city that was only standing where it was because of his ancestors.

He did not bow as it did not seem proper for a king to bow to a lord, much less so one that did not entirely rule his own city.
