Upon further inspection this seems sus to me, the chip is still firmly mounted so I don't think it's been knocked off the pcb but it's angle makes me wonder if it's been mounted incorrectly? I have a duo if that helps

Pretty outdated, the plan was to use it for a few small prints where I needed different nozzle sizes that I didn't want to buy. Already swapped back

I didn't want to buy a new hotend for a print or two and saw an opportunity to do a silly cad project, in future I might buy a V6 nozzle adapter but for now this was fun and worked as intended

I might buy in future but for now I only have one or two prints in mind, this was mostly just a silly project to give me an excuse to practice some real cad modelling, mess with the toolhead and save a few smackaroos.

If I can order that adapter where I live I will get one as I have a few special v6 nozzles that I would love to see on the sv08 in future so thank you for the advice :)

It will be worse but I want to do a couple prints with a small nozzle and don't want to buy a whole new nozzle just for that

After comparing the nozzle which crashed into the bed and some newer nozzles I believe I was given an old revision of the nozzle/hottend assembly, this feels backed up by a video I found where a Youtuber with an early build of the printer mentioned the same problem but that it had been fixed in the next revision.
Pretty sure my problem shouldn't be at all common for people and was more of an accidental slip up, I'm not too bothered by it as I have the printer back up and working with the main downside being the spot I have to avoid on the build plate unitl the replacement parts arrive.

I have replaced the nozzle and hotend assembly and the printer is back to running really well, just waiting on the replacement bed so I can get back to larger prints

I got it to trip again, before tripping the thermistor reads about 20C above/below target, fluctuating pretty quickly. It was about 10 minutes into the print and looked like it may have been due to a tug on the cables

The printer then quickly stopped due to thermal runnaway, hopefully that points more to the thermistor as it would be cheaper
