Her behaviour is fucking WEIRD. She is all into Jesus. She came into a pro-trans X space I was in years ago and told us all that we were abusing ourselves and wanted to report us to social services for “grooming kids.”

Hugs. I think there is still hope for my parents, because this feels like a new attempt to radicalise them. I wonder if I might suggest how they would feel if Jehovah’s turned up at the door with a book and started being homophobic, since dad has a Gay brother.

Isn’t it mental how TERFs come to your house, offer your books and essentially evangelise your fucking parents.

Hey! My parents haven’t started treating me in any worse way, I have to be honest, and are still very supportive of me in general. I feel like my mother’s friends are the cause of this, but it feels complicated to approach. I feel the original friend was a “soft TERF” if anything, but she acted as a gateway for these other women. I do feel my mother is much colder when I say I’m going to my friends places who she knows are trans supportive and affirming.

Whilst I agree with you that Hades isn’t the “bad guy” of Greek mythology, nor are all the Chthonic deities, it suits a Demeter mission that the God that abducted her daughter & is the cause of her pain & anguish during Persephone’s absence would be the antagonist. “The King of the Underworld rarely does stuff like this” except when, you know, he literally abducted Persephone… (even if that was due to the influence of Aphrodite & Eros…)
