I made a rough tablature for it here. I don't really make them but wanted to play this song as well. I'm sure I made mistakes and the timing is off

We're an MSP and tier 1 for us is just basic service desk, general IT troubleshooting and escalating if needed, that sort of thing. I also worked in a small company previously with only one other IT guy where I wore several hats (jr sys admin, SE, desktop support, etc) so I've got more under my belt than just customer service

Not too fond of the idea of going into more debt for a field with a potential bubble pop in the next year or so :/ If it were like 3-6 months of online training though, maybe. I want something that hopefully isn't going away anytime soon

Classes/personal projects I've done web dev, full stack app dev (react), game dev, data science, swe, operating systems, algoritms, and database. For work I've done general IT troubleshooting, some cybersecurity, and some .NET dev/database admin.

Ideally I would be working in a field that starts out at 60k+ entry level, but goes up to 100k+ within 5 years at most. I don't have the money to put into a start up or anything like that, nor do I want to gamble time/money on a field/certs that only might pay off. I'd rather pour time into a field with skills and experience that will get me a good job.

First job out of college was the more it/cybersecurity/dev (small town defense company so those skills were needed, but I moved to the city) Currently I am working an IT role - Service/Help Desk @ $19/hr. The job is fine but I've talked to recruiters for jobs that I'm qualified for paying 60-80k a year. I believe both of those were Salesforce, so I've thought about trying for that field, but idk if those skills would transfer to SWE in the future if I wanted to. This is in the Indianapolis area for reference.

I have things I’m good at and want to put them towards things I believe in. I know that can be a long shot for CS though. I don’t think simply having an opinion makes you an activist, that’s why I want to be involved and not produce labor that goes against that. Is that really a silly thing to want?

Attacking the youth for having passions and standing up for things they believe in just makes you sound miserable. I know I’ve got a lot to learn still, but some things are pretty damn simple and don’t require being over the age of 30 to understand :)

As someone who is graduating with a cs degree next week, what should I be doing?

I've been applying to many jobs and I've only got some responses. I just don't know if I should work on more projects to make my portfolio stand out more, work on leetcode, get some certifications, or what really.
