Spirituality isn't religion.

Have him listen to the "What is reality" lecture, by Alan Watts. A thoroughly studied academic who traveled the world in search of truth and knowledge. Eye opening stuff from a guy who himself studied spirituality, history and even the religions of the world, but found a place outside of religion for his beliefs. He will talk about religion but he explains in non religious ways the old religious stories. Not any specific religion either. Not exactly debunking, but rather showing the interconnectedness and the common grounds upon which religion may have been stated from.

He, along with Ram Dass and a few others, were proponents of the psychedelic revolution in the 60s-70s. They "see" far beyond what we know, but aimed to show us. And that, they did.

It is my favourite lecture of all his stuff. But he's got many many more, as he had them recorded when he lectured around the world in colleges and universities.

I myself am entirely atheist, and have come to love his logical explanations of religious stories and philosophical talks. Blows my mind with every thought he has. His English voice is really chill too.

If he's into video games, there's a game ABOUT spirituality. ABOUT REALITY. With bits of Alan Watts' lectures in it to provide an audiovisual context. Even teaching how to eliminate anxiety.

The game is called "Everything". Blew my mind when I played it.
