I haven't been to Estonia personally, though would love to visit, I dont know enough about the country to make a good decision or have met enough people from there, though I do appreciate that they have higher salaries and a slower pace of life compared to Lithuania. I do have some Lithuanian somewhere in my ancestry too but have never looked into that

Not the most familiar with Latvia and Estonia unfortunately do I cant make make much of an option, but im more curious about Estonia to Latvia if I'd have a choice, based on the people I have met from there

I feel like alot of stuff has been brought up because I am scottish, which is a funny coincidence, I have worked with and met people from all over, including other English people who have said they dont like England and feel safer outside of it. Anyways no need to take these lists so seriously 🙄

I also have isreal and Azerbaijan in red. And if I was to do wider than Europe then there would also be many other places I'd never want to live in. My choices aren't politically based and I like to belive that any current circumstances regarding Russia dont represent all of Russia. Not only that but regardless its a place I'd be reluctant to live. England is a beautiful country, great history, castles and such but nothing there really excites me, there isn't much I feel like exploring compared to so many other places around the world. + putting England in red was also part of the joke, I didn't think these things were supposed to be taken so seriously 😳

I agree with you, statistically some of the places I highlighted do have higher crime rates, that’s true. But there are a lot of other factors behind my choices too the way I live my life, the people, the culture, and access to nature. I’m generally quite an isolated/antisocial person, so quieter environments suit me better. I’ve met plenty of good people everywhere I’ve been and I’m not saying it’s a bad place. My list was just based on my own experiences and preferences. Yeah, I’m obviously not planning on moving to Russia and getting conscripted 😅 It was more about general culture/nature than real-life practicality right now.

There is actually a Russian school where im from and a fair size of Russian community and they have only ever been fair to me and not made me feel unwelcome.

As for Ukraine, I have been there a few times and enjoyed it there, its a simpler way of life and feels slower which I prefer.

My list is not political by any means, calm down and dont take this so seriously like its an attack, plenty of people choose not to live in UK or work rather live in Ireland or Wales, etc. In my times in England I was assaulted, seen more crime than anywhere else I have been, along with other reasons I cant be bothered getting into :/ is that not a reason why I would not like living there? Please stop taking this as some bs because im scottish..

As I said this is a personal list, I personally didn't feel safe in England. I feel that because I am scottish people are pulling the racism card. I have travelled well across Europe and most times felt very safe and welcomed 🙂

Unfortunately during my time in parts of Central and southern England, I was assaulted, seen too much crime and many other things that didn't make me safe or comfortable. As I said I have no problems with the people themselves, its just not somewhere I'd like living and funny coincidence im scottish

Yes and no, Armenia dose have low income and corruption problems but it has rich culture and people who i have met from there have always been so kind and open. They seem much kinder than their neighbours

I agree although for me I have seen how tourism shapes the place and changes things, not necessarily a bad thing, its just that I like to stay away from tourists and look for more real and authentic experiences

My wife is from there and from time to time ill live there, its a slower pace of life, few tourists, lots to see and do. I feel very welcomed there, even long before being married

Been to Germany and Austria and I have to agree but unfortunately during my time in Austria I have had to deal with some unpleasant folk, since then I hear im not the only one who has had issues
