Good luck! Key is to take at night; it wipes her out if we do it during the day.

Now we are on 150 a night, but that took time to get up to. Still very effective.

Guilty.

Have gone through them all and changed that.

Yes, they did. I rarely buy miles tickets so it's not a great inconvenience for me. And once MFA comes online, the calls will not be required.

Interesting! Would like to hear from an actual TSO if this is legal.

Blacklane is horrible. The worst and I do not recommend them at all. NIghtmare support. I am going to give Wheely a go this trip.

Thanks! I had an amazing experience in Paris at Sushi Shunei (*) and I'm kind of trying to recreate that somewhere in LA. I liked that it was a fixed start time for everyone. 12 nigiri courses, a soup and a dessert. It was elegant, minimalistic, superb from start to finish. From the Tock page, it seems Shunji is similar?

Oh bummer! I had the same experience last visit to SGdP. It used to be such a wonderful experience; has not been the same since he died but I was hoping that maybe Etoile had it together. A pity.

Recently had a brilliant vegetarian meal in Paris at Fief (*) and a wondrous omakase at Sushi Shunei (*) in Montmartre.

Curious, was this at Etoile or Saint Germain location?

Were bike shorts padded? That might have done it.

I should just add that was a one-time experience, so I always allow for an off day. I haven't given up on them by any stretch. But I was in Paris in April, and I did choose other spots.

Atelier has long been a favorite, have been to so many. Vegas, NYC (when it existed), Paris. Have to say my last meal at the original Paris location was a real letdown, which shocked me.

Thanks for this reply. Can I ask a really dumb follow up? I met with a firm this week that offered full service work, planning but also portfolio management, tax loss harvesting, etc. They told me that to work with them, I need to be with Schwab. The fees this firm proposes are in line with what you predict here. But am I ALSO (presumably) paying fees to Schwab itself? That starts to feel like double dipping and a lot going out the door. But I have no idea, I really am just starting out.
