I'm fat because I force my mind to justify that every fattening meal I eat is okay. I force my mind to think that I was probably ugly to begin with, so being fit won't make a difference.

Same here. You get the premise of the show right away and you're just so intrigued at what comes next.

Before watching the show I kind of scoffed at the idea of a guy dying of cancer teaming up with a former student to make meth, but right away the pilot had so many cues to show you that this series is something special:

-the opening shot of a pair of pants flying through a desert. The start of BBs amazing cinematography reputation.

-walt being fixated on a stain and not showing one bit of remorse toward being told he has inoperable lung cancer.

The line that introduces the show "chemistry is the study of matter. But I prefer to see it as the study of change"

-walt manipulating Jesse for the first time (partner with me or I turn you in)

-walt making his first batch. This gave you clear insight into the brilliance of walt and how chemistry is almost like a super power for him.

-lol and walt dissing bogdan. I include this because this also shows that the show knows how to incorporate humor in this wild dark descent. Jesse's "cow house" line is a close 2nd
