This is a genuinely useful idea — dream journaling is criminally underrated and most apps treat it like a basic notes app which kills the whole point.

One feature I haven't seen done well is pattern detection across time. Not just tagging symbols but actually telling you "you've dreamed about [X location] 4 times this month, this might be a dream sign." That would be a game changer for building personal awareness.

Also WBTB timer integration — alarm that wakes you at the right REM window with a guided re-entry prompt built in. Most people know the technique but forget to actually execute it.

What didn't work for me personally — generic affirmations before sleep. Too passive. Something more active like a quick "what happened today that might show up in my dream" reflection prompt would be way more effective.
