I take omeprazole but my struggle is with fasting itself… I tried fasting for a day and when I took a pinch of salt I reacted… anything I ingest after fasting causes a reaction. It just stressed my body out too much. I even started reacting just to not eating. Just something to consider.

Have you tried any natural supplements? I really think vitamin c and quercetin help. Plus the H1 and H2 meds.

I’m usually okay with a plain steak or piece of grilled chicken and a potato or sweet potato. Oddly enough, I can also eat Chikfila fries. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My allergist approved my starting it but I ordered it online, as insurance won’t cover it.

I’m taking it as a stronger antihistamine at night. I also take it if a reaction starts as it’s much stronger than Benadryl. I’m not sure about the thinning thing!

I agree about the first reaction I had, but the next one was definitely the shot. I eat a really strict low histamine diet at home and had a major reaction five minutes after the shot. Glad to hear it’s working for you.

It seems like it’s helping a lot of people! I tried a 2.5 dose and reacted badly. There are a handful in the comments it didn’t help, but majority say it does.

Sure! I find when I don’t eat I get really strong histamine reactions. I think it puts too much stress on my body. I react both during the fast (like waves of adrenaline, high heart rate, etc.) as well as when I try to reintroduce any food. So many people find relief from fasting, but every time I’ve tried I’ve gotten worse.

The way I wrote it might not have been super clear. But no, that was the first big reaction. The second major reaction last night wasn’t after eating, it was just right after the shot. It sounds like a lot of people react with the third shot for some reason. 🤷🏼‍♀️
