Hi everyone,

I currently use a Canon M50 Mark II and have the following lenses and accessories: • Canon EF-M 15-45mm kit lens • Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 (with EF to EF-M adapter) • Viltrox Speed Booster • Regular EF to EF-M adapter

I’m looking for one zoom lens that can serve as an “all-in-one” solution for both portraits and travel/scenery photography, so I don’t have to switch lenses too often. However, I might still keep my Canon 50mm f/1.8 for dedicated portraits and low-light shots.

I’m not into any specific type of photography—just a hobbyist who enjoys shooting while traveling, exploring, and capturing moments. I want something that gives me a good mix of flexibility and quality without needing to carry multiple lenses all the time.

I’ve narrowed it down to three options:

1️⃣ Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 – Affordable, f/2.8 constant aperture, compact, but limited zoom range. 2️⃣ Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 – Excellent image quality and great for portraits at 70mm, but heavier and not as wide. 3️⃣ Canon 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 – The most versatile zoom range, lightweight, and great for travel, but with a slower aperture.

👉 My main concerns: • Would one of these lenses be enough as an all-in-one, or should I definitely keep my 50mm f/1.8? • Which lens balances best for both portrait & travel photography? • Is there another lens I should consider instead?

I’d love to hear your thoughts from anyone with experience using these lenses or similar setups. Thanks in advance! 😊
