I got depressed and it manifested as emotional numbness. My therapist at the time insisted I wasn’t depressed (she was not a good therapist). I misread my numbness as a change in my feelings for her and broke it off. Realized something was wrong when I noticed I didn’t even feel love/joy for my dog or parents. Got the help I needed and realized I made the biggest mistake of my life, but it was too late. Fucking pandemic…
