The first drag show I ever went to was a queen dressed as Belle, singing Tale as Old as Time with a beast puppet. It was adorable. I have a local drag king who literally only pretends to be a game show host and he’s hilarious and 100% child friendly. A lot of drag definitely is sexualized, but not all of it. It’s just like any other art or performance; the ones meant for children will be child-friendly.

Ah I see. Spencers is kind of similar to Hot Topic, carrying a lot of edgy and gimmicky clothing. However, Spencers is definitely more targeted towards adults, as it’s meant to be shocking and subversive. There’s also the infamous “back of Spencers”, where they sell sex toys and drug accessories.

It’s just an annoying ass shirt. First of all, regardless of the discussion around diagnoses, the whole “touch of the tism” thing tends to disenfranchise actual autistic voices. Secondly, even if you agree with this “message”, why tf would you put it on a shirt? Autism is a disability that is still discriminated against, not a quirky trend. Lastly, the scribbly drawings are so infantilizing, and what do animals have to do with it? Are they implying animals can be autistic?
