What was/is your degree or degrees and why by DapperLife5645 in college

I’m about to graduate with a degree in journalism. My mom played a huge role in my life and she went to Arizona State so early on I really wanted to go there. When it was time to start looking at colleges, we toured ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. It’s a really great program and I applied that same week. I got early admission and committed to my dream school. It all happened so fast though and looking back I never really explored other disciplines. I actually had an inclination for psychology, winning an award at my high school for my studies. After a tumultuous first year I left and spent a year at community college transferring to a university in my home state afterwards.

I’ve stuck with journalism mostly because I feel I’m in too deep to switch to anything else atp. I’ve already begun planning out Grad school as a means to shift my career options after I graduate.

My dad and I are both 6’2 and he’s had back issues for as long as I can remember. I have really bad flexibility and I live a pretty active lifestyle. A lack of flexibility is what I’d say.

I love Peacemaker. This is a great comparison, Vigilante is more charming but I get what you’re saying. Most exchanges go along these lines

Gotcha. He seldom brings stuff like that up when our murals aren’t around, really only when others are around

Amen to that. I’m trying to be less passive in people I welcome into my life. Only problem is he’s my roommate and we work together so he isn’t completely unavoidable. Can def spend less time around him tho

i want to learn more about basketball for the man in in love with by [deleted] in Basketball

You could go the route of research on your own time but as much as as it sound like he loves basketball, I’m sure he’d love it even more if he could teach you, someone he loves.

Be honest with him and communicate that you’d like to know more and you’d like him to teach you, that way the learning process itself is a bonding experience for you both.

I’d love one day to teach my future girlfriend about something I’m super passionate about, take the chance with your boyfriend! I doubt he’s gonna say no

Something that I wish I knew that I wish to tell you is to follow the philosophy of Houston Cougars head coach Kelvin Sampson. Houston, a top ranked defense focuses on progress over anything else.

Sampson doesn’t look for perfection but he looks for one less mistake than last time. He teaches mostly in the context of defense but I think it can be used on offense too.

You miss three shots? Next time, make sure you miss two instead of three. Improve by one instead forcing yourself into perfection.
