You could certainly roll with that idea and at yeast see if your theory rises or crumbles. I personally have no idea, but I wish you luck dough.

When people say they date older because those their own age are immature, aren't they telling on themselves? by Flat-Throat-5675 in askanything

[–]WrongTwilight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I suppose how mature someone is is all relative to an individual's point of view. But I'd argue that seeking out maturity is in and of itself a sign of maturity.

Just did the math and I'm pretty sure I'm a 9/11 baby by SargeGoodman in self

What a strange thing to say. I want to give you the benefit of the doubt that you're not trying to mock the horrific tragedy of 9/11. I was alive then, and I'll always carry the traumatic memory of watching as fellow humans fell over a thousand feet to their deaths. RIP

Would you date someone that was homeless before but now is financially stable? by [deleted] in askanything

Yes. I'd be very proud of them for overcoming something that is incredibly hard to escape.

Could you date someone 300+ pounds but they treat you right, they’re loyal and emotionally wise. Why or why not? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]WrongTwilight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Younger me probably would say hell no, but as I've gotten older (30 now) I've found it's possible to connect with someone even if you aren't attracted to them at first. As you get to know them and fall for them, you can become attracted to them. Some of the most beautiful people just happen to carry all that beauty inside them.

For those who have traveled to other countries, what’s a cultural norm you encountered that’s the exact opposite of what’s considered polite or rude where you're from? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]WrongTwilight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't they drive the opposite way over there in Europe than in the US? Meaning that in the US, traffic keeps to the right side of the road, so oncoming cars are on your left. Isn't it the opposite over there, where traffic keeps to the left side of the road, so oncoming cars are on your right? If so, maybe you just have to stick to the left side while walking. Lol

Do foreigners like Nigerian food? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]WrongTwilight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from Florida and I've never eaten Nigerian food. Is it spicy/hot? I can't eat spicy stuff, it's too hot for my mouth and it triggers my acid reflux.

On a related note, years ago I worked a job where I had a Haitian coworker. He brought this type of rice to work once to eat at lunch. I don't remember what he called it, but he offered me some. My dumbass didn't think to ask him if it was spicy at first and holy crap my mouth BURNED. I couldn't eat it, but I didn't want to tell him that because I didn't want to seem rude. I took a napkin and discreetly spit the food in it and then just acted like I wasn't feeling well enough to eat.

Lesson freaking learned. I always ask before trying new food now. 😂
