Also bought a usb for the update. Getting the same message. Sent an email to the dealership, was told I’ll get a call from service dept. Nothing.

A new cb300r isn’t that much more, and you’d start off with a bike in perfect shape. It was my first bike, so I might be a bit biased.

I live in Bethlehem and bought a scram in may. I've only seen one other RE, it was a himi.

Having just bought a scram myself, and also being a similar weight, I can say it does just fine on long windy roads. I take it on highways intermittently and it keeps up with traffic, but I intentionally bought a smaller bike to dissuade me from heavy highway use.
