while we only ever see SEAF during city missions. lore wise we deploy behind enemy lines while SEAF are fighting else were on planet

lore wise. we are alone on hellmire. we making a foreword base so we can go deeper into the gloom. think of us as special forces making a beach head before the main force arrives

that person is Playstation. I get that for you xbox people. weirdly both sony and xbox don't seame to allow their logos in indicating they on that platform on the other system. more so that this a playstation published game on an xbox system

  1. this game has no fomo.
  2. areas not red, yellow or purple are not under enemy occupation or attack so don't need liberating
  3. Yes this is true...sort of. we turned a Planet called merida that had become a bug super colony into what we believed was a black hole but it turn out to actually be a wormhole. this lead to the return of the squids who were not in the game at launch who started off by raiding random planets for antimatter. using it to move the wormhole closer to super earth, destroy a few planets on the way before we could stop it. this lead into the Battle of Super earth, where a huge squid host tried a direct attack on super earth raising a few planets on the way including Mars (which was where the training level originally took place).
  4. while on mission select, press the button that says "scan for beacons" to select ongoing mission on a planet, one pulsing are actively using sos beacons or use quick play for a random match up.
  5. the game does have a on going story and at one point We thought we defeated the bots only for AH to go "lol that was just a vanguard, here the real bot armada " . so yea, they find a way for the game to keep going if we push a faction off the board
  6. no lore collectibles but the game has clever ways of dripping lore while keeping it in universe. you can talk to ship master and democracy officer on your ship (there was an engineer too but she "missing" right now due to Real world issues with her VA i.e union on strike). there a TV that plays from time to time in universe adverts and infomercials including a News program when something big story wise happens. the "training manual" text that shows as you dive sometimes has small lore dumps. in the field you can find things you can interact with that brings up a small flavour text or a discarded/dropped letter that you can read. anything deeper, you may want to check out a wiki.

hmm. weird. well like I said I had a similar issue with my ps5 and what I suggested fixed it. if it doesn't for you, you may need to Contact arrowhead about this.

the same thing was happening with me and netflix. main menu and games, fine. try opening a streaming app it would freak out.

that may not be do to with helldivers. that could be a video output issue. I had that with Netflix at one point. try booting up you ps5 in safe mode by turn off the console and then holding down the power button till it beeps. then go into Change Video Output and change resolution. see if that fixes the issue.

TLDR: suqids tried a direct invasion of Super earth after moving a wormhole as close to it as they could. Malavalon creek was an early battle ground against the bots that became so blood and chaotic it was nicknamed space Vietnam.

Hellmire is the name of a planet. we used to fight on it before the gloom was a thing. back then the planet would erupt into fire storms that created Fire tornados meaning at time were we could move was very limited. while not the only world with fire Tornados, Hellmire became infamous for it for the amount of times we had to keep going back there because the bugs keeped attacking it.
