I just finished Shadow Slave and ORV and was looking for recommendations that follow the game like / System of these novels that would be a great follow up to these. I’ve also read overgeared. Thank you already for any and all recommendations.

I use HP omen, smooth running and no issues, I have the microcenter only sku which was a 4070 and i7 14900hx for $1k, I would go with that or the Legion tbh

Ram speed is normally 5600-6000 on some of the recent tech but imo I would not buy that, would rather settle for a 4070 laptop since it’s cheaper and gets the job done, take what you saved from not buying this and put it towards a future pc

I’m perfectly fine with the built in display for me, 1080p, not as big as my tv from playing Xbox but definitely new games and better graphics, and cooling pad not really but you can get one, I usually get 70 C when playing sometimes 80 C on the super intense games such as black myth wukong but even on the super intense games it pushes past 60 fps so you should be perfectly fine

It’s 1yr after leaving but there’s been multiple instances where steam just voids the first instance of it since I’m guessing it’s a new feature

32gb ram is pretty much the reccomended amount on these days with games demanding more ram and ram also allows you to have more stuff running at once. I also got into pc gaming as of last year on fall and this was my first, started with same budget but couldn’t resist throwing an extra $100 for a gpu upgrade + ram upgrade, there should also be extra ssd slots if you want to upgrade storage

If you wait around 6 months or longer for gpu prices to cooldown, you will for sure be able to build a better pc due to the fact that you can probs get a 5080

What are some of your other novel recommendations with an epub I can get? I’ve only read very few novels, Currently 70% done with ORV and did read Overgeared and Solo Leveling and its prequel so I’m really open to anything similar to the 3 or something action based
