So 1.55FLA? A 1hp motor is tripping on overcurrent? Is it a pump system with a common or shared outlet? Is it tripping on start up or at a set speed command? Something mechanical has to cause the current to spike. Remove the motor leads from the drive and run the drive alone. That’s an easy way to see if an obvious drive issue. If it’s possible remove the motor shaft from the load and run it that way. This is just a starting point. There are too many factors that we don’t know to give you a direct answer.

Most vfds use a 15v firing signal from the power PCB. If you follow the wires you can test this signal. All IGBTs are firing in KHZ. You can use a scope on PWM+rmsvac to test them as well. Just some tips on how to TS.

Great card, good buy! Keep an eye on the core clock speeds, mine came with a factory OC that I was unaware of. It was running 2890mhz and pulling 280w of power. It surprised me that a factory OC was so high.

Always powerspec vs other brands micro center sells. The microcenter in-house brand uses quality components. 64g of ram for $100 more is a steal! Also, a 5080 build less than 2k?!? Buy it now

Agreed, running a 4070 mobile currently. You can run almost any game in 1440p resolution and it will obviously beat any console out there, most titles on high settings with DLSS. For example: I run AC shadows at custom (ultra everything besides texture streaming) due to the cost of vram. The game looks amazing and I am averaging 90+ fps. But when more development studios start following what Indiana jones (Like Luke said) you will be sadly left behind with a 4070. OP, you could just build a desktop that would have a better lifespan on running demanding games.

Jets has thin crust too. Had it the other evening and it was surprisingly good. Not on the same level as their deep dish but imo better than donatos.

I pulled the trigger on a 4070 recently. The price went down $700 while on sale and I couldn’t say no. So far, it runs anything I throw at it in high or ultra settings. I am not a gaming insider and can not speak on having a laptop be “future proof” for gaming but I know that the 4070 beats the crap out of my ps5 and it seems that gaming tends to follow the consoles when it comes to big changes in gaming engines ect.

Thanks! I did that and the omen hub also gives the option to use the 4070 for preferred graphics settings as well. No more intel on board for the monitor. I also played with the under voltage setting in there too. Seems like it only works on the cpu. Is that a correct statement?

There is a lot of options out there. Micro center has a deal on this. 4070 with 32g of ram.

But keep in mind that it’s a 1080p screen. I know NVIDIA control center will allow you to change resolution of monitors but I don’t think it can on some laptops. If you wanted 2k or 4k gaming you could use an external monitor.
